 Sight Fishing

If you have never sight fished before you are in for a real treat. What separates flats fishing from all other types of fishing is that you can actually see the fish before you cast to them. After you make your cast the adrenalin rush you feel as the fish closes in on your fly or bait will not be something you will soon forget.

I will pole you over miles of beautiful turtle grass searching for our intended game fish. The abundant life you will see above and below the water can be breath taking.  I have heard more than once, "If I never caught a fish, the trip to the Keys was well worth the trip." Catching fish is just an incredible bonus.

Wives and girlfriends that were reluctant to go fishing can’t wait to come back next year.  As I pole you along searching for game fish you will be surrounded by incredible bird life such as roseate spoon bills, osprey, pelicans, cranes, egrets and our nations bird the American bald eagle - not to mention beautiful mangrove islands.

Below gin clear water you will see lush flats of turtle grass where you could encounter dolphin schooling baitfish, spotted rays, horseshoe crabs, and sharks just to name a few.  You will come to understand why after fishing ten days in a row with customers, I spring out of bed the next morning to go flats fishing on my first day off.  You will also see why my customers come back year after year.

Stop dreaming about and make it happen!
